HAF Support Albinos in Mkuranga

Hands of Africa was contacted by an organization in Belgium to assist them in helping an Albinos group in Mkuranga District in the Regional Cost.In order to assist and assess their needed and discuss with them the actions to be taken, HAF CEO, Franck Alphonse visited the group last August 2010.

The group is composed of more than 200 persons, majority children and women. They have tried to organize themselves with very limited means to work together in addressing their problems and rejection from the community.

We were able to help them with immediate needs such as secure rent for couple months until we start a program that will allow them to have a sustainable mean of income.

we are hoping to be able to fundraise enough funds and start by supporting their children to return to school and their parents to start micro projects to cover families need.
We welcome any support and advice from you to support this group in Mkuranga.

Please feel free to contact us on more details on how to be involved
